We had our largest mission group to Juarez, 31, and had the largest number of orphans down there, 120+, as well. But this year was a twist for me. Halfway thru the trip I got a serious head injury. I was running, got closelined, and it flung me back onto the cement where I was knocked unconscious, with a bloody mess on the back of my head and bleeding out my ear. My brain swelled and my skull got fractured. The took me to the hospital where they put me in ICU for a few days until I got stable. Then they flew me home with a medic pilot. My CET shows I got some blood on my brain, but I'm recovering. It was definitely a trip to remember. 2007 Juarez Pictures
